The Teen IDEA Coalition at The Rose is dedicated to providing a space for teens to explore Inclusion, Diversity, Equity and Accessibility through the creation of art and meaningful discussion. In exploring methods of radical educational ideas and social justice principles, the group is designed to empower young people to utilize their voices as activists and artists.
This year, the group will be creating an anthology of original scenes inspired by guest speakers and social issues impacting the Omaha area.
Meetings are every other Saturday. Email Jay at jayh@rosetheater.org if you’re interested in joining. Floating attendance is valid, encouraged and understood.
