For more than 30 years, the Rose Theater Guild has supported the efforts of The Rose with a group of dedicated volunteers who raise funds and awareness for our programming. The Guild has raised more than $1.5 million since 1985, directly supporting our mission of enriching the lives of young people and their families through live theaters and arts education.

All funds raised by The Rose Guild directly support The Rose Theater and its wide array of programs. The Guild is fortunate to have members who make it possible to support such a wonderful agency that is both a cornerstone in Omaha’s history and a thriving center for children’s education and entertainment.

The following are Guild staple events and activities that patrons may see throughout the season:

Rockin’ Rosie

Rockin’ Rosie is the Rose Guild’s annual fundraising event, typically hosted in early spring. Each year, the event rocks a different theme, and attendees let out their inner performer by dressing up and cutting loose. The event offers dinner, dancing, silent and live auctions, and fun, fabulous fundraising. Learn more about Rockin’ Rosie!

Rose Theater Boutique

If you’ve attended a show at the Rose Theater, you’ve likely seen the Boutique. Sponsored by Oriental Trading Company, the Boutique offers themed trinkets as well as snacks that can be enjoyed inside the theater during the show. Rosebuds Program

Rosebud membership is a unique opportunity for children to help support the fun and fundraising efforts of The Rose Guild. Rosebud members are recognized in The Rose’s main stage show programs, receive a pre-selected gift from the Guild Boutique at each show, and are invited to two exclusive events each season where they can tour the sets and meet the actors. The Guild year commences in August and largely wraps-up in May. As a Guild member, you’ll be assigned a role within the Guild itself as well as an event committee for the annual Rockin’ Rosie gala.

All Guild members are invited to attend board meetings on the second Monday of most months, August through May, at our Rose Studios for Youth Artists at 12202 West Center Rd., Omaha, NE 68144. Lunch and social begin at 11:30 a.m., followed by a 12 p.m. meeting. Meetings generally last one hour.

Our boutique is sponsored through a generous donation from Oriental Trading Company. Additionally, we offer snacks and bottled water which patrons can enjoy in the theater during the show. Be sure to stop by the boutique before the show or during intermission to grab a fun themed keepsake. The boutique inventory changes with each show!

The boutique accepts cash (preferred) and credit card. Credit cards can be processed through a QR code form on your smartphone or through the box office. We hope to see you at the boutique during your next visit!

Rosebud membership is $20 per child (under the age of 18). To sign your child(ren) up, please visit here.
