Hiya! I’m Rosie, your local Rover Reporter, here to review the paw-some production of The Lightning Thief: The Percy Jackson Musical (Based on Rick Riordan’s paw-some book.)
Oh my paws, this one was pup-tastic! Percy Jackson is such a brave pup! Fighting monsters, traveling across the country, and going on a dangerous quest to save the people he cared about — that boy’s such a hero! Not to mention his friends: Annabeth’s so smart and bold while Grover’s loyalty is sweet and down to earth… I’m glad they were there to lend a paw to Percy and help him out on his quest. Oh, everyone was just so dog-gone good!
There were so many bone-tastic takeaways from this wonderful performance, too! From finding your identity to trusting those around you, there are so many bone-tiful life lessons we can learn from The Lightning Thief!
I’ll be sure to check out the rest of the books in the Percy Jackson and the Olympians series. The show is that paw-inspiring!
Anyways, I don’t want to spoil anything, but the show was a treat! I loved watching Percy learn more about demigod life, different mythological figures come to life on stage, characters building self-confidence, and seeing these three friends beat the odds to save the world.
All in all, I give it 5 Stars and a bouquet of Roses!
