Rose Brigade

Rose Brigade is a select group of musical theater performers Grades 1-12 who hone their singing, dancing, and acting skills through learning pieces of a junior Broadway show throughout the year. They perform at our Rose Mainstage and can compete nationally at the Junior Theater Festival!

Brigade Teams

Senior Brigade (Grades 8-12)

The Senior Rose Brigade is a select group of musical theater performers in Grades 8-12 who hone their singing, dancing, and acting skills by performing 2 full 1-Hr Broadway Junior shows in the fall/spring, performing and competing a 15-minute cut of their Broadway Junior show at the Junior Theater Festival in Atlanta, GA in the winter, and performing at the Rose Theater Downtown
for their year-end- musical theater spring concert!

Senior Brigade is performing Legally Blonde Jr and The Lion King Jr for the 2026-27 season.

Junior Brigade (Grades 5-9)

The Junior Rose Brigade is a select group of musical theater performers in Grades 5-9 who hone their singing, dancing, and acting skills by performing 2 full 1-Hr Broadway Junior shows in the fall/spring, performing and competing a 15-minute cut of their Broadway Junior show at the Junior Theater Festival in Sacramento, CA in the winter, and performing at the Rose Theater Downtown for their year-end- musical theater spring concert!
Junior Brigade is performing High School Musical Jr and The Lion King Jr for the 2026-27 season.

Bloom Brigade (Grades 4-9)

The Bloom Brigade is a select group of musical theater performers in Grades 4-9 who rehearse weekly in acting, singing, and dance from September to May to perform a 15-minute cut of their Broadway Junior show as a pre-show for a Rose Theater Mainstage, a full performance showcase for their family and friends, and for our year-end musical theater concert!

Bloom Brigade is performing Junie B.’s Essential Survival Guide to School Jr for the 2026-27 season.

Mini Brigade (Grades 1-4)

The Mini Rose Brigade is a select group of musical theater performers in Grades 1-4 who rehearse weekly in acting, singing, and dance from September to May to perform a 15-minute cut of their Broadway Junior show as a pre-show for a Rose Theater Mainstage, a full 30-minute performance of their Broadway show for their family and friends with costumes, scenery, lighting, and perform for our year-end musical theater concert!

Mini Brigade is performing Trolls Jr for the 2026-27 season.

Auditions

Join the premier theater training program in Nebraska! All auditions will include a vocal and dance portion. Please fill out our audition form below and we’ll see you at the audition!

Saturday, July 18th, 2026

5:00 PM – 7:00 PM (1st – 6th Grade)

7:00 PM – 9:00 PM (7th – 12th Grade)

Auditions will be held at the Rose Studios for Youth Artists at 12202 W. Center Rd.

Please anticipate being there for the full time, and our team will schedule your student for an audition slot.

Video auditions will be accepted and due Sunday, July 26 at midnight.

Brigade Exclusive: Disney’s Beauty and the Beast Cast Workshop

January 23, 2027 | 9:00 AM

Rose Brigade students will have a special opportunity to learn directly from members of the touring cast of Disney’s Beauty and the Beast during this exclusive master class experience.

Participants will take part in a high-energy dance workshop led by touring cast members, offering insight into the movement, technique, and performance style used in a national touring production. Following the workshop, all participants will come together for a special Q&A session where cast members will share stories from the road, discuss their professional journeys, and answer questions about performing in a Broadway-style tour.

The experience will conclude with a second dance workshop for the alternate Brigade group, ensuring all participants receive hands-on instruction from the touring artists.

10:00–10:30 AM: Combined Q&A with Touring Cast
10:30–11:30 AM: Dance Workshop (Group 2)

This one-of-a-kind experience gives Brigade students a behind-the-scenes look at professional musical theater while learning from artists currently performing across the country in one of Disney’s most beloved productions.
