Scribble

An Interactive Dance Party Designed for Neurodivergent Audiences

Move, create, and explore in Scribble – a sensory-friendly experience designed specifically for neurodivergent children, including those with autism or sensory sensitivities. This immersive event provides a welcoming space where every child can engage at their own pace.

A live DJ sets the rhythm with fun, engaging beats while digital artists use iPads to transform participants’ movements into stunning, real-time projections on three large screens. Every step, sway, or spin becomes a work of art, celebrating creativity, self-expression, and joyful exploration.

With a smaller audience size and a thoughtfully designed environment, Scribble ensures a comfortable, inclusive experience tailored to sensory needs. Whether dancing, watching, or just taking it all in, every child is free to participate in a way that feels best for them.

Join us for a one-of-a-kind event where movement meets imagination in a space designed just for neurodivergent audiences!

Scribble, a dynamic performance at both The Kiewit Luminarium and The Rose Theater, is part of the Common Senses Festival, a citywide celebration of accessibility in the arts that amplifies voices, fosters connection, and redefines how we communicate across barriers.

This event is not part of our member show offerings. All attendees must purchase tickets, regardless of membership status. Ticketing is general admission at $5 per ticket, and no membership discounts apply.

The Rose is all-inclusive and meets every kiddo at their level. Sometimes big trips to a new place can cause some fear and anxiety, but the sensory friendly experience really allowed our kids to enjoy it in their own unique and authentic experience.
