The Rose Theater plays and active role in the Omaha community. The theater hosts and participates in a variety of events throughout the year. We host RoseFest in Downtown Omaha to showcase main stage productions and educational classes and camps. You can also find us at Gifford Park Friday Nights and other area events to highlight our theater’s offerings while connecting with our community.
Rosefest
The Rose Theater invites families to Rosefest, a family fun festival celebrating art, creativity and community every August. Families enjoy a variety of activities including music and on-stage performances, bounce houses, activity booths, costumed characters, face painting, interactive art displays and more.

Rockin’ Rosie
Each year, our Guild hosts an amazing annual spring fundraising to generate support for our educational programming. With a different theme every year, Rockin’ Rosie attendees rock fun themed outfits and let their inner performer shine while cutting loose. This event includes dinner, dancing, silent and live auctions and raffles!
