Membership FAQ

When is The Rose Box Office open?

The Rose box office is open Monday through Friday from 9:00 am to 4:30 pm. To reach a member of the box office outside of these times, call 402-345-4849, and a representative will return your call as soon as possible. On performance weekends, the lobby doors open 45 minutes prior to showtime, and box office phones are staffed from 10 am to 1 pm.

What is the membership term?

Memberships are valid for six consecutive member shows and discounts for two premium events, typically lasting a full year. Dates of various productions may vary. All member benefits are valid during that time frame, including discounts on additional tickets, premium events, classes and more.

Can other people use my membership?

Yes, you may invite friends and family to use your show tickets as long as you, the member, make the reservation. We’re sorry, but we cannot change the name the tickets are being held under. Your guest must request the tickets using your name. As such, member tickets may not be given away as raffles or other prizes.

How do I make reservations and purchase tickets?

If you did not reserve your show dates and purchase premium show tickets as part of the registration process, you may do so by logging into your account or by calling the box office at 402.345.4849. Early reservations are recommended, as membership does not guarantee date and performance time availability.

Can I make reservations and purchase tickets online?

As a member, you can purchase tickets to premium shows and special events at the reduced member rate online.

Members may also reserve free member tickets online. You can also view your existing reservations by logging into your account. You may also purchase additional $10 tickets to member shows as well as discounted tickets to premium events.

What’s the best way to buy a membership as a gift?

The gift of theater is a wonderful way to make life-long memories!  You can click the Gift Membership button to send a membership to a family or friend, but if you have any questions please call the Box Office at 402.345.4849.

Can I exchange my tickets for a different performance date of the same show?

Yes! We are happy to make exchanges for the same show title, subject to availability. To make an exchange, please call the box office at 402.345.4849 at least 24 hours in advance of your scheduled performance. If you call to exchange your tickets and receive a recording, please leave a message. Leaving a message is considered acceptable notification. A box office representative will return your call in order to reschedule your performance date. If you do not call at least 24 hours in advance to exchange your tickets, a $2 per ticket fee will be charged for rescheduling your member tickets. This fee is waived for Patron and Capital Campaign Donor members.

If I forget to make reservations for one of the member event shows and it sells out, may I use my member tickets for a different show title?

Members are provided free tickets to the six consecutive member shows following their date of purchase. The number of free tickets depends on the membership level purchased. Tickets may not be rolled over and applied to a different production.

What if I have more people than my membership allows who want to attend a show?

Members can purchase up to ten additional tickets to regular season shows for only $10 each.

Is there a limited number of additional $10 tickets my family can purchase?

Members may purchase up to 10 additional tickets at the reduced $10 rate for regular season shows. If you need more than 10 additional tickets, please call The Rose Box Office at 402-345-4849.

As a member, how much do I save on tickets to premium event shows?

Members may purchase up to 10 discounted tickets ($7 off) to each premium show. If you wish to purchase more than 10 premium event tickets, please call The Rose Box Office at 402.345.4849.

What is the member discount on classes?

Rose members receive $10 per month per family on year-long musical theater, dance, voice and drama class, plus a $15 credit to be used to cover the annual class registration fee.

In addition, Rose members receive $15 off per week for weeklong summer camps and $15 per week of multi-week production camps.

Can I share my member discount on classes?

Unlike tickets which have transferable benefits, class discounts cannot be shared. The primary contact(s) on your membership must be the one to enroll a child to obtain the class discount. As the primary contact, you are the one responsible for the child.

Can my membership tickets be used for school field trips?

For a variety of reasons including royalty agreements and software tracking, member tickets cannot be used for school field trip performances.

Can I exchange my tickets online?
