Be a Part of The Rose

The Rose Theater is committed to enriching the lives of children and families through live theater arts education. We are continually seeking talented artists with a similar focus and passion. If you have a high standard of excellence and a dedication to innovative education, we want to meet you.

The low cost of a season ticket is wonderful and the treats are also very affordable which I think allows more families to see live theater.

Volunteer Opportunities

Public Show Usher

Ushers are essential at each production to greet patrons as they arrive, open doors, scan tickets, assist at Will Call, escort guests to their seats and more. During the show, ushers help answer questions ranging from bathroom locations to emergency procedures. Ushers must be at least 14 years old or accompanied by an adult.

School Show Usher

For school field trip shows Tuesday through Friday during the school year, ushers help unload busses and escort school groups to their designated seating areas within the theater. During the show, ushers help answer questions ranging from bathroom locations to emergency procedures. Ushers must be at least 16 years old or accompanied by an adult.

Concessions

Concessions are available during the intermission of our premium events. Volunteers set up, sell and restock the concession table with cookies and water to ensure guests can purchase what they need to enjoy our performances.

Teen Volunteer Team

If you’re a teen who wants to learn more about theater, earn free show tickets and more, we invite you to join The Rose’s Teen Volunteer Team. Teen volunteers contribute by helping run the light boards, paint scenery, prepare props and costumes, teach classes and more. In return, they earn credit that can later be used on tickets, classes and tuition for summer camps.

To register for The Rose’s Teen Volunteer Team, please email us at teenvolunteers@rosetheater.org for a registration packet.
