Frequently
Asked Questions

When is The Rose Box Office open?

The Rose box office is open Monday through Friday from 9:00 am to 4:30 pm. To reach a member of the box office outside of these times, call 402-345-4849, and a representative will return your call as soon as possible. On performance weekends, the lobby doors open 45 minutes prior to showtime, and box office phones are staffed from 10 am to 1 pm.

Where is the theater located?

The Rose Theater is located in downtown Omaha at 2001 Farnam Street on the southwest corner of 20th & Farnam.

Where is the best place to park?

Parking is available for $2 in the parking garage at 19th & Harney, courtesy of the Omaha Douglas Public Building Commission (1910 Harney St., Omaha, NE 68102). Parking meters surrounding the theater are active from 9 am – 9 pm, Monday through Saturday, with free parking available on Sundays and holidays. Metered parking is managed through Park Omaha.

What time does the lobby open?

For performances our lobby opens 45 minutes prior to the performance. The doors to the auditorium open approximately 30 minutes prior to the performance.

How do I make reservations and purchase tickets?

If you did not reserve your show dates and purchase premium show tickets as part of the registration process, you may do so by logging into your account or by calling the box office at 402.345.4849.

What’s the difference between E-Tickets and Will Call?

The Will Call table is a table in the lobby, separate from the Box Office, where you can pick up your tickets. Tickets that are emailed to you can be scanned directly from your smartphone device or can be printed out if you find that to be more convenient.

If you select e-tickets, and cannot find them on the day of the show, the Box Office can always help you!

Can I exchange my tickets online?

Tickets are not able to be exchanged online. To exchange tickets, please call our box office at 402.345.4849.

Do you sell popcorn or snacks?

The Rose has a small gift shop open for most performances that sells snacks and bottles of water. Most items are $1.00. The gift shop also has some toys, stuffed animals, and books that can be purchased.  The gift shop accepts credit cards for purchases over $5.00.

During premium events, The Rose opens additional counters to sell chocolate chip cookies and water during intermission. Those stations are cash only, but credit cards are accepted at the Box Office.

What should I wear?

The Rose welcomes you to wear what makes you feel comfortable. Some families welcome the opportunity to dress up and make it fancy. If the show has a popular theme, you’re welcome to come in capes and costumes!

Do you have booster seats?

The Rose lends booster seats for families on a first come, first served basis. We ask that you lend us your ID in exchange for the booster, which we return to you when the booster is returned.
